\nSalary:£30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
\nA highly regarded architectural practice based in Guildford is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join its growing team. Renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative schemes across the commercial, residential, retail and education sectors, the practice has built an excellent reputation for its technical expertise and design-led approach.

The Role\nAs an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, producing detailed design information and ensuring schemes are delivered to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing high-quality technical drawings and comprehensive construction packages across a range of sectors \n
- Developing technical design information from planning approval through to construction and project completion \n
- Preparing Building Regulations applications and ensuring designs comply with current UK legislation and technical standards \n
- Creating, managing and maintaining Revit models and associated project documentation \n
- Coordinating technical information with clients, consultants, contractors and the wider design team \n
- Assisting with the preparation of specifications, schedules and detailed construction documentation \n
- Attending client meetings, design team meetings and site visits as required \n
- Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle and assisting with resolving construction-related issues \n
- Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards \n
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail \n
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
\n- \n
- A qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline \n
- Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice \n
- Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing and building systems \n
- Excellent Revit skills, with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation \n
- A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning processes and technical compliance \n
- Experience working across a variety of project sectors, which would be advantageous \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships \n
- The confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team \n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent problem-solving abilities \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively \n
