\nReed Education are seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Scunthorpe from September.
\nThis role is ideal for individuals who have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication and interaction needs, and non-verbal pupils. We are looking for confident and caring professionals who can provide high-quality support and help create positive learning experiences.
The Role\nYou will be responsible for:

- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups \n
- Assisting children with autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs \n
- Supporting non-verbal pupils using appropriate communication strategies \n
- Promoting engagement, independence, and confidence \n
- Implementing behaviour support plans and classroom strategies \n
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff \n
- Creating positive and meaningful relationships that support pupil progress \n
- \n
- Proven experience supporting children with SEND \n
- Knowledge and understanding of autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties \n
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills \n
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships \n
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach \n
- Confidence working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 \n
- Relevant experience within education, care, youth work, or support settings \n
