Job Description
As a Tutor, you will:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students. \n
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. \n
- Record student progress and report on this weekly. \n
- Be understanding, empathetic and patient. \n
- Record attendance. \n
- Be organised, dependable and creative. \n
- Be calm, fair and adaptable. \n
About you:

- Patient, kind and understanding \n
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum \n
- Organised \n
- Comfortable to support primary and secondary aged pupils with English, Maths and possibly Science too or comfortable to Mentor young people. \n
- Have experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs. \n
Position - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Opportunities for both Hours - Varied- A number of roles are available.
\nEssential & Desirable Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL \n
- Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs \n
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application \n
- Provide references upon request \n
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this) \n
