Our partner, a 20-bed critical access hospital in Southwest Kansas, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide emergency room and inpatient care within their hospital system. If you are a provider who loves variety and flexibility, this is the perfect opportunity to practice independently in strong collaboration with the hospital medical director.

Schedule

- 7 on/7 off schedule \n
- Wednesday to Wednesday rotation \n
- Physician backup available by phone \n
- Providers alternate Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays \n
- EMR: TruBridge (CPSI) \n

Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Combination of ER and inpatient care \n
- Evaluate and treat emergency department patients \n
- Provide daily rounding and inpatient management and care \n
- Manage outpatient, observation, acute and swing bed patients \n
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physician leadership \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); and/or completion of a recognized Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, required \n
- Or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate program (PA-C), required \n
- 3+ years of emergency room experience, preferred \n
- Eligible or active Kansas APRN or PA licensure \n
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification ( or ability to obtain) \n
