Atlantic Health, one of New Jerseys largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. This role is ideal for self-starters and will give an NP or PA the opportunity to be part of a growing and well-established group with a robust staff.

The Advanced Practice Professional will be working in our 24 beds Critical Care unit and will be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs& PAs. The ideal candidate will have procedural based experience including but not limited to central line placements, a-line insertions, and will initiate appropriate interventions and orders appropriate diagnostic tests. Critical Care experience is preferred.

• Masters degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
\n
• NP or PA Certification and NJ License is required
\n
• DEA and CDS is required
\n
• ACLS and BLS required
\n
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Critical Care or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
\n
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
\n
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
