Food Service Supervisor

Shift: 4:45am-1:30pm, 10:30-6pm, 1:30-10pm, working every other weekend- have to be flexible
Must Haves:

• Associates degree
• Minimum of 5 years of food handling experience
• Supervisory experience
• Culinary school experience

Plusses:

• Bachelors degree
• Longevity in roles on resume - showing progression

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a candidate that will supervise and coordinate the daily operations of food services employees and the department for a healthcare facility in Birmingham, AL.

This person will be responsible for:

• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation and proper handling and storing of foods and supplies.
• Supervises assigned employees to include scheduling, work allocation, training and evaluating.
• Supervises the preparation and delivery of food items.
• Reviews orders to ensure food meets prescribed standards for presentation, temperature and positioning.
• Ensures work area and equipment is clean according to established procedures.
• Arranges for the maintenance and care of equipment, supplies and materials, as needed.
