Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to strong new graduates
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ academic and social success
- Document progress, update case files, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements within a school-based setting
