Occupational Therapist School Setting in Canby, OR

Work one day a week supporting K-12 students by helping them develop essential skills for classroom and life success.

Your role will involve working face-to-face on campus, providing individualized and group services, and collaborating with teachers and family members to tailor interventions for a diverse student caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of a Master's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license for Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to a variety of developmental levels (K-12)
• Team-oriented with a commitment to student empowerment

Responsibilities:

• Assess sensory, motor, and functional needs of students across grade levels
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and interventions
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
• Work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to support IEP/504 Plan goals
• Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student participation and engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and self-confidence
