Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based settings, ideally with K-8 populations
- Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Strong report writing skills
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs)
- Adaptability and comfort working in a very small school environment (15-16 students)
Your Role:
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and student evaluations, including functional behavior assessments as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning, growth, and well-being
- Provide consultation and recommendations for interventions in collaboration with SLP and OT team members
- Prepare clear, organized, and actionable evaluation and assessment reports
- Support staff and families with resources and recommendations to address academic and social-emotional needs
- Maintain up-to-date records and facilitate compliance with relevant regulations and timelines
