Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid credential as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in school-based settings, ideally with K-8 populations
  • Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Collaborative mindset for working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs)
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a very small school environment (15-16 students)

Your Role:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and student evaluations, including functional behavior assessments as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning, growth, and well-being
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for interventions in collaboration with SLP and OT team members
  • Prepare clear, organized, and actionable evaluation and assessment reports
  • Support staff and families with resources and recommendations to address academic and social-emotional needs
  • Maintain up-to-date records and facilitate compliance with relevant regulations and timelines
