Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting K-12 students near Willow City, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek spread over five days. The caseload will be finalized soon, allowing you to make a significant impact across a diverse group of learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication needs in school-age children
- Effective communicator with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to support student success
- Maintain detailed documentation for student progress and compliance
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in both small group and one-on-one formats
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
