Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience delivering OT services in school environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEPs, goal setting, and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to support a diverse student population across grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for OT services and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address academic and functional needs
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy sessions, focusing on fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all services, progress, and communication
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing input on accommodations and modifications
- Offer training and support to school staff on related OT strategies and best practices
- Adapt interventions and goals as needed throughout the academic year
