Job Description

The Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Division at our organization, in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at the local medical school, is seeking to hire a Full-Time Allergy and Immunology Physician. Candidates must have successfully completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology and hold Board Certification or be Board Eligible in this specialty, with the capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Opportunity Overview

  • Become part of a team consisting of 11 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers.
  • Contribute to the growth and enhancement of our established practice.
  • Clinical duties will encompass outpatient clinic responsibilities and shared inpatient consultations.
  • Provide care to a diverse patient population in western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas, addressing conditions such as asthma, allergies, eczema, and inborn errors of immunity, supported by specialized clinics for severe asthma, eczema, eosinophilic esophagitis, and immunodeficiency.
  • Engage in various subspecialty areas, including a well-established Asthma Center and Severe Asthma Clinic, as well as a research and clinical center focused on patients with inborn errors of immunity at our local Immunogenetics Discovery Center.
  • Participate in research initiatives, supported by a dedicated research assistant for our division and access to our Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center, one of the few NIH-funded centers in the nation dedicated to pediatric research.
  • Be part of a comprehensive Food Allergy Center, which conducts active clinical trials, has a dedicated nurse coordinator for food allergies, and is recognized as a FARE center of excellence.
  • Our division offers a consult service and hosts a dynamic ACGME-accredited combined fellowship program, maintaining a close partnership with adult allergists at the local medical school.
