Pay - $55,000-$70,000 annually

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join their team in Downtown Cincinnati. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and a consistent first shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have prior legal billing experience and a strong understanding of billing systems, client guidelines, and invoice processes.

The ideal candidate will have prior legal billing experience and a strong understanding of billing systems, client guidelines, and invoice processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process legal invoices in accordance with client billing guidelines
- Manage the full billing cycle including time entry review, edits, and finalization of invoices
- Ensure compliance with complex billing requirements, including electronic billing (e-billing) systems
- Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections as needed
- Work closely with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed billing records and documentation
- Submit invoices through e-billing platforms and respond to billing rejections or appeals
- Generate reports related to billing, accounts receivable, and financial tracking
- 2+ years of legal billing experience required
- Strong knowledge of legal billing processes and e-billing systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams
- First shift, Monday through Friday

- Salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience
