Gastroenterologist
Job Description
Our organization, the largest healthcare provider in the region, is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to become part of a dedicated team comprising 6 gastroenterologists and 3 advanced care practitioners in the Southern Region, specifically in Biddeford, ME.
This role involves offering both inpatient and outpatient consultations at our community hospital, which is a non-profit facility with 160 acute care beds. There are also opportunities to mentor students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, as well as internal medicine residents and advanced practice providers. Additional responsibilities may include joining the core faculty for a GI fellowship and engaging in clinical research through our research institute.

The total compensation package may include, depending on eligibility, recruitment bonuses, relocation support, productivity incentives, and quality incentives.
The annual base salary for this position is set at $600,000.
