Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to become a vital member of our Cardiothoracic Team!
Opportunity Highlights- Join a dynamic practice alongside one Cardiothoracic Surgeon and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Participate in a 1:2 call schedule, with APPs typically called in for procedures around 10-15 times per year. Call responsibilities amount to 10 days each month.
- Engage in a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, collaborating closely with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.
- Be part of a cardiology team comprising 10 physicians, 7 APPs, and 10 fellows.
- Work at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
- Experience a Level III Trauma Center equipped with a 24/7 emergency department, hospitalist services, helicopter access, and cutting-edge catheterization labs.
- Join a dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate, effective care for cardiovascular diseases and promoting overall health.
- Attractive guaranteed base salary starting at $180,905 annually, plus a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay per year, totaling over $235,000 in the first year (experience in a Cardiothoracic Practice and a minimum of 100 vein harvests required).
- New graduates can expect a compensation package of $157,000 annually, along with a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay, exceeding $210,000 in the first year.
- Daily call pay of $150, with $250 for weekends and holidays, plus an additional $300 for procedure-related calls (approximately 10-15 per year).
- Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice insurance, relocation assistance, $3,000 for continuing medical education (CME), paid time off (PTO), health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, health savings account (HSA), disability coverage, and a generous employer retirement contribution.
- A regional health system serving 14 counties, featuring MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, 7 critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics across northern Iowa.
- A teaching hospital offering Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, as well as Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships.
- Board Certified as an ARNP; must be eligible for an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA, along with obtaining medical staff privileges at MercyOne North Iowa.
- Preferred experience includes a minimum of 100 vein harvests.
- All offers are subject to successful completion of references, background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.
- Population of approximately 30,000, making it the largest urban center in northern Iowa.
- Located just two hours from both Minneapolis and Des Moines.
