Step into a fulfilling opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, working with early learners in a collaborative, supportive environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time contract role offers either a .4 or .6 FTE schedule (2 or 3 days per week) focused on early childhood within a preschool consortium. You’ll support students’ growth and independence by addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional needs in partnership with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
  • Active state licensure to practice occupational therapy
  • Previous experience in early childhood and/or special education settings preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the local preschool consortium
  • Collaborative approach and effective communication skills
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and student success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention strategies for young learners
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, families, and related service providers
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to help students achieve IEP and developmental goals
  • Document progress clearly and participate in team meetings, review data, and adjust interventions
  • Foster skill-building in self-care, sensory processing, and pre-academic behaviors for school readiness
