Shipping/ Electric Pallet Jack Operator
Shift: 7am-3:30 Mon-Fri
Pay: $17hr
Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Description:
Shipping electric pallet jack operator safely drives a motorized jack to load trailers, stage outbound freight, and move products. Key tasks include scanning barcodes with an RF gun, wrapping unstable pallets, and matching shipping manifests to store orders.
Duties:
- Loading and Staging: Transport finished goods to shipping docks and load them tightly into trailers.
- Order Verification: Match pallet counts, store tags, and door numbers against delivery manifests.
- Inventory Tracking: Use digital RF scanners to record item movement and confirm shipped quantities.
- Load Safety: Wrap loose stacks with stretch film and secure freight using straps or bars.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience.
- Physical Strength: Lift boxes up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 8-to-10-hour shifts.
- Safety Gear: Wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes at all times.
- Certifications: Ability to pass an internal electric pallet jack safety test or license course.
- Must have atleast 1 year of experience working in coolers/freezer.
