Exciting opportunity for a skilled school psychologist to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting! We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill a contract position serving elementary or middle school students in the Elkton, MD area. This is a wonderful chance to provide essential support and guidance to students, families, and staff.

In this full-time role, you’ll work a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (Elementary: 8:15–3:45 or Secondary: 7:30–3:00), with a tentative end date of June 12. You’ll join a dynamic team, utilizing your expertise to lead psychoeducational evaluations, support student success, and collaborate with educators.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid MSDE School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
  • Background working with K–12 student populations, ideally elementary or middle school
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 70 evaluations and counseling responsibilities
  • Familiarity with MTSS, IEP, and 504 meeting participation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • In-person availability is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Attend Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP, and 504 meetings
  • Provide counseling services to students as needed
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and well-being
  • Help create a positive, inclusive school climate
