Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to support students’ individual needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that address students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill needs
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to help students succeed in the classroom
