Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education services
  • Ability to adapt strategies for students with autism, cognitive, emotional, and learning disabilities, as well as other health-related challenges
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between school sites within the county
  • Flexibility regarding building assignments and caseloads, to be confirmed at the start of the school year

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services for a caseload of 55–65 K-12 students
  • Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to create and implement individualized interventions
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and generating progress reports for students with a range of disabilities
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing clinical insight to student support teams
  • Planning and delivering therapy sessions that foster independence and improve functional skills
  • Committing to a consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 36.25 hours per week
