Job Opportunity: Medical Oncologist

The Hematology/Oncology Division at our organization is on the lookout for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist to join the MacNeal Community Cancer Center. This role is pivotal in establishing a comprehensive general hematology and medical oncology program in Berwyn and its neighboring areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance a strong hematology and oncology program.
  • Provide effective leadership and expand both clinical and research initiatives.
  • Assist in attracting top-tier professionals to the practice.
  • Promote excellence in patient care and service delivery.
  • Deliver inpatient and outpatient care at MacNeal Hospital and Cancer Center.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary translational clinical care research and oversee a diverse array of clinical treatment protocols.
  • Instruct fellows, residents, and medical students as needed.
  • Report directly to the Director of the Hematology/Oncology Division and collaborate on the development of the regional community cancer practice.
Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
