Job Opportunity: Medical Director of Neurology

Our organization is on the lookout for an enthusiastic clinician-leader to take on the role of Medical Director of Neurology. This position is pivotal in steering the ongoing development, strategic vision, and clinical excellence of our Neurology program.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Service Line Chief, Practice Manager, and Division Director to provide clinical and professional insights into the specialty.
• Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer of the Medical Group while working alongside the administrative Division Director to manage both clinical and administrative functions of Neurology.
• Oversee various aspects of clinical quality, patient safety, and satisfaction, as well as staff and clinician morale.
• Enhance productivity and revenue, manage care performance, and support recruitment efforts.
• Ensure adequate patient access and contribute to program growth, development, and accreditation.
• Work with the Practice Manager to share accountability for practice performance metrics and goals.
• Provide leadership and support to both clinical staff and practice personnel.
• Assist in the management of daily clinical operations and practice performance.
• Act as a liaison among physicians, administration, and health system leadership.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care in both outpatient and inpatient environments.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license in Florida (or eligibility for one).
• Eligibility for medical staff privileges at our affiliated hospital.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of Neurology.
