LHH is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk skilled in accounts receivable for one of our top clients in Costa Mesa! This will be a long term contract opportunity with our client and will report onsite to their office in Costa Mesa.
Accounts Receivable Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to support our accounting team by ensuring accurate customer account maintenance, invoicing, payment processing, and accounts receivable documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working with multiple systems and customer portals.

Accounts Receivable Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to support our accounting team by ensuring accurate customer account maintenance, invoicing, payment processing, and accounts receivable documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working with multiple systems and customer portals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry related to customer account setup, ship-to locations, billing, cash receipts, and other accounts receivable transactions.
- Generate and distribute aging reports, customer statements, invoices, proof of delivery (POD) documents, and other accounts receivable correspondence.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records by filing, scanning, printing, and managing supporting documentation.
- Access and utilize customer portals to retrieve information, submit invoices, and monitor account activity.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounts receivable records while following established procedures.
- Collaborate with the accounting team and perform duties under the guidance of a supervisor or manager.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or administrative support preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience using customer billing portals is a plus.
