Job Description
Make an impact in a dynamic PreK-8 district as a School Psychologist, supporting students’ growth and well-being throughout the school year. This full-time, onsite contract role will have you working closely with educators, families, and students in a diverse, collaborative environment. Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (required)
- Experience with PreK-8 student populations and a variety of academic or behavioral concerns
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
- Ability to work onsite throughout the entire school year on a contract basis
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders
- Comfortable with flexible grade level assignments and caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments and interpret data for effective interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling, crisis response, and consultative support for students
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to determine student needs
- Stay up to date with best practices and evolving district guidelines
