Special Education Teacher / Case Manager – Middle & High School (Life Skills)

Start Date: August 19, 2026 (New Teacher Orientation)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:05 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in a Life Skills classroom using evidence-based teaching practices.
• Teach one 8th-grade Learning Lab (SDI) class focused on supporting student academic success.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Serve as the case manager for assigned students, ensuring compliance with special education regulations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Collect and maintain accurate documentation on student progress and IEP goals.
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and growth.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility).
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education compliance, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
