Job Opportunity: Assistant Professor in Dermatology

Our organization is on the lookout for academically inclined dermatologists and dermatopathologists to become part of our full-time faculty at the Assistant Professor level. We invite applications from board-certified and board-eligible candidates who have a keen interest in various dermatology specialties.

We cater to a diverse and medically intricate population in the greater Pittsburgh region, attracting patients from across Pennsylvania and neighboring states. Our extensive campus encompasses 40 hospitals and 800 outpatient clinical sites, along with a global healthcare footprint. The Department of Dermatology operates seven clinics, offering a wide range of services, including:

  • General dermatology
  • Phototherapy
  • Laser treatments
  • Mohs micrographic surgery
  • Aesthetic services
  • Inpatient consultations

Our Dermatopathology division is located on our Oakland campus and includes four full-time dermatopathologists and two dermatopathology fellows. We also run a teledermatology program that provides both synchronous and asynchronous care to patients statewide, facilitating inpatient consultations and e-consults with community physicians. For those interested in research, there are opportunities for clinical studies and collaboration with colleagues in both clinical and basic sciences.
