Our organization is seeking a Radiation Oncology locum tenens provider for a facility located in Minnesota.

  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) candidates are welcome.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • The locum will not operate independently; at least two Radiation Oncologists will be present in the department.
  • The physician team manages between 35 to 50 patients undergoing treatment, averaging about 10 to 16 patients per day for each physician.
  • On average, there are 3 to 5 CT simulations conducted daily.
  • Locums can anticipate handling around 2 to 3 consultations each day, four days a week, with no consults typically scheduled on the OTV day.
  • The follow-up patient volume is roughly 10 to 12 per week.
  • Consultations are allocated 60 minutes, while follow-ups are scheduled for 30 minutes.
  • Essential skills include expertise in EPIC, Varian ARIA, and Eclipse, as well as experience with Varian TrueBeam.
  • A standard work schedule runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Treatments and clinic hours are set for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Tuesday designated as the OTV day for the locum.
  • The locum is required to be present on-site during operational hours.
