Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics expertise to join our Family Medicine practice in Algona, Iowa.

• Thriving practice with immediate patient volume
• Collaborate with a team of 8 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
• On-call responsibilities for OB/hospitalist are 1:9; C-section call is 1:3
• Comprehensive family medicine services, including surgical obstetrics, emergency care, and hospitalist duties
• Access to various specialists, such as Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Orthopedics, and more
• On-site facilities include lab, x-ray, sleep studies, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and emergency services
• 25-bed critical access hospital along with a primary care clinic
• Affiliated with a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching facility
• Designated NHSC Site

• A regional health system serving 14 counties, encompassing a medical center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics across northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
• Service area population of approximately 260,000
• Offers telemedicine and teleradiology services

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility

• $260,000 annual base salary + production incentives + ER coverage

Kossuth Regional Health Center operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, two family medicine clinics, home care services, hospice, and public health nursing agencies. The center employs around 250 individuals and maintains professional affiliations with a regional medical center.

Algona, with a population of 5,500, is conveniently located 2.5 hours from Des Moines and 3 hours south of Minneapolis.
