Our organization, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, is excited to offer a new position for a skilled Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established practice. This role encompasses a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, including therapies for liver and kidney cancers, as well as advanced vascular and biliary interventions. You will utilize cutting-edge CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiographic technologies to provide exceptional, patient-focused care in collaboration with the esteemed UPMC Hamot Hilman Cancer Center.

  • Role Balance: Focus primarily on Interventional Radiology procedures, with occasional rotations into Diagnostic Radiology. The Interventional Radiologist will mainly cover the emergency department list when assigned. Day travel to regional clinics may be required.
  • Interventional Procedures: Responsibilities include angiography, angioplasty, bone marrow biopsy, embolization, IVC filter placement, GAE, TACE, ablation, mediport placement, biliary/nephrostomy drainage, feeding tube insertion, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, nerve blocks, epidural injections, stroke treatment, aneurysm/AVM repair, spinal fracture intervention, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and more.
  • On-Call Duties: Weekday evening coverage on a 1:4 rotation, with weekend coverage also on a 1:4 basis.
  • Collaborate with experienced Interventional Radiology physicians and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • American Board Eligible, American Board Certified, or Canadian Board Certified in Interventional Radiology, with strong skills in cross-sectional imaging and the capability to perform a wide array of general radiology procedures.
  • Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials.
  • DEA certification required.
