Title: Senior Premium Billing Specialist
Setting: Onsite with hybrid opportunity after training
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $23.00-$25.96/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
This position begins onsite for approximately six months while completing a comprehensive training program. Following successful training and performance, employees may become eligible for a hybrid schedule (not guaranteed).
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Premium Billing Specialist to join a fast-paced healthcare operations team. This back-office role is focused on high-volume invoice generation, billing analysis, specialized tax documentation, and error resolution. The ideal candidate has strong billing, accounts receivable, finance, or banking experience and thrives in a detail-oriented, process-driven environment. Note: This is a back-office operations role. There are no inbound phone responsibilities, payment posting, or traditional account reconciliation duties.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance, banking, or a related field.
- High-volume billing experience.
- Strong accounts receivable background.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or revenue cycle operations.
