Construction Accountant

• Required: Experience using Peachtree Accounting Software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

• Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper coding
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
• Maintain organized accounting records and financial files
• Assist with audits by providing requested financial information
• Support compliance with company policies, tax requirements, quarterly reporting, and accounting procedures
• Set up and maintain vendor and contractor information, including accurate 1099 records
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
