This contract opportunity near Kirkland, WA offers you the flexibility of a .2 position, working one day per week. Provide essential services and support to help children succeed in their educational environment, collaborating with staff and families to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
  • Experience working in pediatric or school settings, with a strong understanding of IEPs
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for school-based OT interventions
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including screenings, assessments, and direct or consultative treatments for students as assigned
  • Develop and implement individualized goals and strategies to support academic participation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates related to occupational therapy
  • Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Adapt activities and recommend modifications to optimize student participation in school routines
