Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Active Indiana Special Education Teaching License (or ability to obtain before start).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
