Key Qualifications & Experience:
- State certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with elementary-age students, preferably across grades 1-4
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
- Adaptability and creativity in planning individualized instruction
- Passion for supporting children in their academic and social-emotional development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students with a range of needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom that nurtures learning and independence
