Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Logansport, IN

The position spans the academic year, from August 5th through May 31st.

In this dynamic setting, your expertise will be central to enhancing students' learning experiences and collaborating with educators and families. You’ll have a chance to contribute directly, as this position is designed to replace a previous virtual SLP, emphasizing the importance of in-person connection. Additionally, the district is in search of an SLPA for another campus—indicating a wider commitment to robust speech-language support services.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP
• Ability to transition smoothly into an onsite setting, providing hands-on evaluation, intervention, and therapy
• Prior school-based experience serving K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly desired
• Experience supervising or collaborating with SLPAs is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Conduct assessments and create individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state regulations
• Serve as an onsite resource and advocate for students with communication needs
