Our organization is looking for a general gastroenterologist to become part of a collaborative team that includes three physicians and three physician assistants. This group provides comprehensive gastroenterology services in both outpatient and inpatient environments. The consult service is overseen by a dedicated hospitalist team, and there are designated procedure days in a newly equipped endoscopy suite located on-site.

The unit is well-equipped to perform Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP procedures, including stenting capabilities. Additionally, the endoscopy suite features a GERD clinic with a manometry cart for conducting pH impedance studies, anal-rectal manometry, SmartPill, and Bravo studies. We are eager to welcome a driven general GI specialist to enhance our services in the region.

Practice Highlights:
  • Our gastroenterology team has deep community connections and extensive experience.
  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday with shared call coverage (both practice and emergency department).
  • Support from anesthesiology and nursing staff.
  • Outpatient screening and diagnostic procedures are conducted from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Coverage for both inpatient and outpatient settings is provided.
  • Focus is solely on consult services.
  • Quick integration into practice with an established patient backlog.
Campus Highlights (all services located on one campus):
  • Olympus endoscopy towers equipped with CO2 capabilities.
  • 190-degree scopes for EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures.
  • Utilization of the Argon Plasma System.
  • All services are conveniently situated on a single campus.
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a certified residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible status.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
