Machine Operator 1st Shift

\n Pay: $20 –$40/hour (Pay based on experience)\n
Shift: 1st Shift\n

\n Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM\n

\n We're hiring experienced Machine Operators for a well-established flexible packaging company in Batavia, IL. We are seeking highly qualified candidates with strong machine setup experience and mechanical aptitude.\n

\n

\n Responsibilities:\n

\n • Set up and operate packaging/converting equipment\n
\n • Monitor machines to ensure efficient operation and quality output\n
\n • Perform troubleshooting and assist with preventative maintenance\n
\n • Understand machine documentation and interfaces\n
\n • Follow safety procedures, including emergency stops/E-stops\n
\n • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met\n
\n • Maintain a clean and organized work area\n
\n • Work closely with Quality, Material Handlers, and other operators\n
\n • Support additional production needs as assigned\n

\n Requirements:\n
\n • At least 6 months of machine operating & setup experience\n
\n • Flexible packaging experience strongly preferred\n
\n • Strong mechanical aptitude\n
\n • High attention to detail\n
\n • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs\n
\n • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for extended periods\n
