Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing behavioral interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop interventions and strategies for student success
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide short-term solutions as needed
- Assist with school-wide initiatives promoting mental well-being and academic achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines
