Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care for child behavioral health units, along with offering concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be flexible or set on a regular basis, depending on the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Performing inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, either independently or in collaboration with residents and/or nurse practitioners.
- Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents in managing cases.
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
Tasks may be carried out independently or in partnership with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may involve working with residents and/or students when available.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, depending on years of experience and/or faculty rank. This figure represents the base pay and does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by the department's compensation policies. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
