\nSSM Health SLUCare Academic is seeking a fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon to join our growing team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a high-acuity academic environment while contributing to the education and training of future surgeons through Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive trauma and acute care surgery services at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital (and the VA for applicable split-role positions) \n
- Participate in trauma call coverage according to the established schedule \n
- Engage in teaching, mentorship, research, and scholarly activities \n
- Maintain compliance with risk management, quality assurance, coding, and documentation standards \n
- Participate in community outreach, education, and program development initiatives \n
Qualifications:
\nEducation:
\n- \n
- MD or DO degree \n
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency \n
- Completion of a Trauma/Critical Care or Surgical Critical Care fellowship \n
Licensure & Certification:
\n- \n
- Eligible for Missouri medical licensure \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care \n
Experience:
\n- \n
- Academic experience preferred \n
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentorship, and research \n
