Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to become part of our thriving, hospital-centered practice located in the greater Phoenix region. This role is perfect for a driven physician who has a passion for inpatient urology, tackling complex cases, and collaborating across various hospitals in a rapidly expanding metropolitan area recognized as the fifth largest city in the United States.

Position Highlights
  • Inpatient-focused urology hospitalist position with optional outpatient clinic opportunities available if desired.
  • Weekend call shifts ranging from 8 to 26 per year (Friday 1:00 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.).
  • Coverage for approximately 3 to 7 hospitals each weekend, supported by 1 to 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a strong clinical team.
  • All licensing and credentialing expenses will be fully covered by the practice.

  • Robotic surgeries (including prostate and kidney cancer, sacrocolpopexy)
  • Advanced treatments for incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and erectile dysfunction
Clinical Team & Services

You will be joining a large, collaborative team that includes:

  • Urology specialists: Jeffrey Stern MD FACS, Aaron LaTowsky MD, David Kaplan MD, Chandan Kundavaram MD, John Mai MD, Amy Schlaifer MD, Joshua Jones MD, Oliver Ko MD
  • Urogynecology specialists: Jennifer Klauschie MD, Keri Wong MD, Hemikaa Devikumar MD, Christina Rogers DO
  • Over 12 Advanced Practice Providers supporting both inpatient and outpatient care

Our areas of expertise encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Prostate cancer, Da Vinci robotic surgery, GreenLight laser, vasectomy
  • Incontinence and female vaginal prolapse
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Laparoscopic nephrectomy
  • ThermiVa, Rezum, Urolift, and other advanced BPH/pelvic health therapies
Role Expectations

The Urology Hospitalist will be responsible for:

  • Providing inpatient weekend coverage and rounding on hospitalized urology patients.
  • Managing post-operative patients, handling inpatient consults, and performing urologic surgeries and procedures.
  • Collaborating closely with APPs and the wider team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Opportunities for clinic or outpatient sessions can be integrated based on interest and the needs of the group.

Candidate Profile
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Welcoming both new graduates and seasoned physicians
  • Open to both Allopathic Medical Graduates (AMG) and International Medical Graduates (IMG)
  • Interest in modern, technology-driven urologic care and complex inpatient management
