Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physiatrist to become part of our dedicated team within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Located in the scenic city of St. Joseph, MO, our advanced regional medical center is known for delivering exceptional patient care through a team of highly skilled and collaborative professionals who are committed to innovative, evidence-based practices. Practice Overview

This outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of needs from spine and musculoskeletal medicine to rehabilitation for post-stroke patients, amputees, and general rehabilitation. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for ultrasound-guided procedures, electromyography (EMGs), general rehabilitation, and spasticity management. Our clinic regularly performs a significant volume of procedures, including:

  • EMGs
  • Ultrasound-guided interventions
  • Neurotoxin injections
  • Joint injections
  • Trigger point injections
  • Tenotomies
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy
  • Capsaicin patches
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation structure that includes:

  • $300,000 starting base salary with a two-year guarantee
  • Potential for additional earnings based on RVU production
  • $50,000 signing bonus
  • Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment assistance
Practice Features

  • In May 2026, our outpatient clinic will move to a new, state-of-the-art medical office building, enhancing the patient experience by consolidating various services such as primary care, specialty care, outpatient imaging, lab services, and retail pharmacies.

  • We are actively collaborating with a local university to establish a collegiate sports program and a Sports Medicine Center of Excellence, which will also provide comprehensive therapy services.

  • This multi-disciplinary practice offers numerous opportunities for expansion and professional growth.

  • We are in the process of launching a virtual Spine Center, a collaborative initiative involving the PM&R, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management departments.

  • Our work environment is cooperative, energetic, and friendly, ensuring high satisfaction levels among patients, caregivers, and providers alike.

  • Join an experienced multi-disciplinary team that includes a Certified Athletic Trainer and a fully equipped on-site physical therapy suite with a Physical Therapist.

  • We handle approximately 12,000 patient encounters annually, with 95% being outpatient and 5% inpatient.

  • Consultation call is only required when Advanced Practice Providers are unavailable, with no weekend or holiday obligations.
