We are currently looking for a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our dedicated team at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical abilities, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and an interest in engaging with various clinical trials available within our extensive network. Applicants should hold or be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the candidate's experience.
The selected candidate will work at a facility located near the UPMC Hamot campus, which offers cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Physicians will be part of a supportive, integrated network led by fellow clinicians. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and additional support personnel. Experience significant growth in a practice that encompasses both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy administration, laboratory services, and supportive therapy visits. Patient care is delivered in both clinic and hospital settings from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared among physician colleagues.
