As a Diesel Apprentice, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring cleanliness and providing friendly service. You will engage with customers and drivers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their travel experiences. If you have a knack for mechanics but lack formal experience, don’t worry—we will provide the training you need!
What You Will Learn in the Apprentice Program- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
- Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
- Air system diagnostics and repairs
- Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
- Charging system diagnostics and repairs
- Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
- Parts lookup and acquisition
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance services
- Ability to lift and move over 75 pounds while working in confined spaces
- Adapt to various temperature conditions
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Work on a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts as required
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (cost covered by the organization)
