Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.
- Coordinate and manage case calendars, deadlines, court filings, and litigation-related documentation.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, and case files.
- Prepare, review, and maintain pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
- Monitor compliance with federal and state court rules and procedural deadlines.
- Track billable time and assist with matter management and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
- Utilize litigation support and document review platforms to organize and manage case materials.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting defense-side products liability litigation.
- Prior experience assisting with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
- Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures.
- Experience managing complex case calendars and litigation deadlines.
- Familiarity with litigation support and eDiscovery platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and effectively manage competing priorities.
