Key Dates & Schedule:
- Contract Duration: August 12, 2026, to May 27, 2027
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Weekly Hours: 37.5
- Caseload: Ranges across K-12 students; details to be discussed during the interview
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license issued by the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Background in delivering OT services within school environments
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to provide individualized and group therapies across grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT interventions to promote student participation and independence
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff on intervention strategies
- Foster positive relationships with students to motivate and support their development
