Special Education Teacher (Resource) | Phoenix, AZ

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a middle school caseload in the Phoenix, Arizona area for the current school year. This full-time, school-based position focuses on providing specialized instruction and case management services for students in grades 6-8. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about supporting student growth through individualized instruction, collaboration, and compliance-driven special education services.

Position Overview:

• Full-time, school-based position
• ASAP start through May 21, 2027
• On-site position in Phoenix, Arizona
• Resource Teacher position
• Middle school caseload serving grades 6-8
• Caseload of approximately 25-30 students
• Collaborative and supportive school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services
• Manage and maintain an assigned caseload of students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct annual IEP reviews and updates
• Monitor and report progress toward IEP goals
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with special education regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families
• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally within the school setting

Required Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Special Education teaching certification/licensure
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and case management
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits:
