  • Weeknight on-call schedule (Monday to Thursday) at a ratio of 1:5

  • Base salary starting at $600,000, with additional production incentives

Our organization has been a leader in cardiovascular care since its inception in 1970, becoming one of the largest practices in the United States. Recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals by Fortune/IBM Health, we comprise 44 physicians and provide a wide range of services, including General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Our accredited Cardiology Fellowship program hosts 8 fellows and operates from 8 primary office locations, serving over 15 outreach facilities throughout Iowa. With an active research department, we participate in major STS registries and conduct more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.

Ottumwa, Iowa, is located just 85 miles southeast of Des Moines, the state capital, and has a population exceeding 25,000. The city is home to Indian Hills Community College and features a vibrant downtown area with beautiful architecture. Our medical center is a Level II Trauma facility that has been dedicated to community service since 1893. We operate four non-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds.
