Position Summary

As a Primary Care Physician, you'll provide comprehensive outpatient medical care while collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You'll play an important role in advancing quality initiatives, improving patient experiences, and supporting InnovaCare Health's mission of delivering innovative, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

\n
• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients.
\n
• Diagnose, evaluate, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
\n
• Document patient encounters accurately following company policies and procedures.
\n
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Practice Administrators, Case Managers, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
\n
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
• Recommend improvements that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
\n
• Protect clinic assets and maintain professional standards.
\n
• Participate in special medical projects and on-site services as needed.
\n
• Maintain professional affiliations and participate in continuing medical education.
\n

Qualifications

Required

\n
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
\n
\n
• Family Medicine
\n
• Internal Medicine
\n
• Geriatric Medicine
\n
\n
• Active, unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• Active DEA license
\n

Preferred

\n
• Two or more years of outpatient experience
\n
• Medicare and Medicaid credentialing
\n
• Experience in value-based care or Medicare Advantage populations
\n
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
\n
• Athena EMR experience
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities
\n
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
