Shipping Clerk
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour

HireCall is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and experience in shipping and receiving operations. This is a non-climate controlled facility. This position will be 1/2 administrative and 1/2 warehouse associate.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Overtime required as needed to cover vacations or employee absences (may work 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and register them into the company system.
- Pair RFID tags with incoming inventory.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOL) from work orders provided by loaders.
- Schedule inbound and outbound shipping appointments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for management.
- Verify shipments and document any damaged or missing materials.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, brokers, and drivers while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental management procedures.
- Assist with other shipping and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, or logistics experience required.
- Experience creating Bills of Lading and maintaining shipping documentation.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
